The 16 primary schools that play under the Nasinu Zone Netball competition were hosted by the LDS Primary School on their Annual Netball Awards Night that was held on Friday 24 July, 2015 at the Primary school.
All the 16 schools were represented that night with many visiting LDS Primary school for the first time including the honourable chief guest Mr Neori Cama head teacher of the Christian Mission Fellowship Primary school.
In his remarks Mr Cama reminded the players, coaches and parents of the importance of working together to achieve future success by "setting in order the inner vessel" of each individual, because a team is made up of individuals.
Gerald Nathan, Vice principal of LDS Primary, who co-hosted on behalf of the host school, complimented the team effort and cooperation of the teachers, students, parents, and physical facilities team who’s hard work made this event possible, drawing positive and appreciative comments from many guest who attended. About 900 Netball players, parents and teachers attended this awards night.
