Week 7 of this term (12th – 16th October) was Fiji LDS Primary Schools Library Week. With the theme “Unlimited Possibilities at Your Library,” students were engage in many activities. On the 16th was the celebration day for this week long event. Dr. Chaminda Chiran Jayasundara, Chief Librarian from Fiji National University. In his speech Dr Jayasundra spoke on the importance of books. He also shared the history of how the “book” came about. It was the finale of the event character modelling by parents with their children that stole the show. The following week all the winner of the character modelling were awarded with small tokens. Thanks to the judges. This was another successful event of the school.
