THIS year’s Hibiscus Festival showcased 12 teens’ contestants, vying for the 2015 teen crown. One of them was our very own Sereana Vitinavulagi, a Year 11 student at the Fiji LDS Church College, who entered as Miss Central Cuisine.
The 2015 Hibiscus Festival theme was “Climate Change – Communities adapting from the Ridge to the Reef.” Sereana did a wonderfully commendable job in portraying the theme with her costume designs, presentations, and other social engagement, which drew an out-pour of admiration on social media from families, fans, and friends.
Sereana eventually won the award that mirrored one of her greatest Young Women’s value, which is Miss Charity.

We also take this time to congratulate an Alumni, who was the Head boy of Fiji LDS Church College in 2011, Timoci Tupua, who finished as first runner up in the King’s contest.
1st Runner Up Timoci Tupua, 2015 King Tevita Tobeyaweni, and 2nd Runner Up Ashnil Sharma |
Both Timoci and Sereana were warmly congratulated by 2014 Miss Teens winner, Sereana Rainima, who was also former student at LDS Church college.
